Student leadership

Students don't have to be school captains or house captains to be considered leaders. We encourage our students to be leaders in the classroom and playground, through their support for other students, or their involvement in academic, sporting, cultural or community events and projects.

Student Representative Council - Through our SRC students develop outstanding leadership and communication skills. Students are elected to be part of the SRC by their peers and assist in making decisions on behalf of their school community.

Peer Support - Through our peer support program, students develop their social skills and confidence. Our older students are trained to support and mentor our younger students.

Learning Buddy System - Our students benefit from our learning buddy system where older students are allocated younger students to support in literacy and numeracy activities. Learning buddies occur on a weekly basis and not only do students develop a range of skills in literacy and numeracy, they also develop positive relationships with their peers.
